The Botanical Gardens is a historic garden at Farm Cove on the eastern fringe of Sydney Central Business District. It was so relaxing to simply walk around, take in the fresh air, see people interacting, see the beautiful plants, all while the sun beamed down on us.

The walk allows you to approach the Opera House and Harbour via the Royal Botanic Gardens and is a breathtaking way to get your first glimpse of these icons. The Royal Botanic Gardens in Sydney is a site that I would give 6 stars for if Yelp allowed this. This garden/park located next to the Sydney Opera House and on the shores of Sydney Harbour is absolutely gorgeous. I visited last May and was amazed at how huge and beautiful this park was. Gardening can be extremely enjoyable for people of all ages and different walks of life. It is amazing for curious children and adults alike to watch seeds in their garden grow and then nurture them into something much larger than the tiny You know what you want: a garden that's so beautiful that you almost want to live in it 24 hours a day.

It is also the most spectacularly sited, occupying more than 27 hectares (66 acres) along the shores of Sydney Harbour.
